About NADOS

NADOS has been performing Musical Theatre, Plays and Musical Revues in and around Newton-le-Willows for over 40 years. The society prides itself in the quality of productions, many gaining prestigious awards from the National Operatic & Dramatic Association throughout the years.

Our philosophy is that just because we are an amateur society, it doesn't mean our shows need be "amateur" too! So we always strive to stage the best shows possible, in a dedicated and professional way, but also to always have a good time while we are doing it.

We usually stage at least two shows a year our Pantomime is now staged in the February half term, and a full scale Musical at the end of August. Pantomimes are usually great fun for all involved, and our Musical productions have gained a reputation locally for being ambitious but highly successful.

NADOS also has a commitment to being part of the community, getting involved in projects throughout the area, so if there’s something that you need help with, or think we could contribute to, please get in touch!

Last, but by no means least, we are a very social Society. We have various organised Social events throughout the year, such as movie nights, barbecues, quiz nights, and our Halloween Parties are always great spooktacular fun!

NADOS Nippers is our youth group, and was founded over 20 years ago to give the children of Newton-le-Willows and the surrounding area an opportunity to showcase their talents. There are weekly sessions where we workshop, in addition to revue shows and full productions throughout the year. And Obviously when it comes to the annual NADOS pantomime, our NADOS Nippers always steal the show!
